About Brand:

Name comes from:
My grandmother’s family name, which happens to mean “healing well”

Inspired by: Plants and all the groups of humans who have found ways to understand them for thousands of years

Why you started: I didn’t see many wellness and beauty companies prioritising the values that so many consumers believe in these days. In food and grocery, and fashion more and more, we’re used to looking for quality, transparency, sourcing ethics, and social and environmental considerations. Wellness and beauty brands are largely very opaque. I believed that I could make a beautiful, accessible product that helped to change this trend and once I started thinking about it, I couldn’t stop. While so much was yet to be learned, it felt like I had been training my whole life to work in this space.

Where you are heading: A well-aged version of what we already are: Small but mighty, globally recognized, ethically sourced botanical products for the people!

Explain to your grandma what you do: We make tinctures, teas, and skincare from beautiful plants grown for us by small American family farms. Our products are a vehicle through which we’re trying to normalize and prioritize the act of giving care - for ourselves, for each other, and for the planet we live on.
